UN Secretary-General "inspired" by youth in Egypt
The United Nations Secretary-General has said he was inspired by the young people he met in Egypt as they try to build a new democracy in the North African country.
Ban Ki-moon recently travelled to Egypt and Tunisia following popular uprisings against authoritarian regimes which were largely led by young people.
In an exclusive interview with UN Radio’s Daniel Dickinson he said he was amazed by how even senior government officials were able to talk freely for the first time.
