Japan counts its losses

Japan is counting the cost of the devastating earthquake that hit the country on Friday. Earthquakes are common on the archipelago and the country is well drilled for emergencies. Most of the damage has been caused by the tsunami which followed the earthquake. The UN encourages countries to prepare for disasters. Sálvano Briceño is a Director with the International Strategy for Disaster Reduction. Rocío Franco asked him about disaster preparedness in Japan.
