Former UN spokesperson devotes retirement to keeping girls in school

After having lived a very public and high profile life as a UN spokesperson, Fred Eckhard has decided to spend his retirement helping disadvantaged girls in Burkina Faso. Together with Gilberte Saint Cast, the founder of a non-profit association called Solidarite Geole-Burkina, he is helping 45 girls stay in school. Fred Eckhard spoke to Febri Orida about his charity work and how he became involved.
