An increase in food prices in Libya could have serious consequences for the elderly and poorest people in the North African country…that’s according to the World Food Programme (WFP).

The on-going conflict in Libya between the Government and pro-democracy rebel forces has caused hundreds of thousands of people to flee their homes.

Abeer Etefa is a WFP Spokesperson. As she travelled in Libya by car to the Egyptian border crossing point, Gerry Adams asked her what support the WFP is providing.
