Celebrating 100 years of International Women’s Day

On March 19, 1911 more than a million women and men attended rallies in Austria, Denmark, Germany and Switzerland to mark the first International Women’s Day, 100 years later it’s still being celebrated and women are still fighting for gender equality.  Academy Award winning actress Geena Davis has been spearheading a campaign to get the entertainment industry to embrace roles for women and girls that break the typical stereotypes. She discussed her efforts at a UN forum. Julie Walker reports.
