Bombing in Jerusalem kills one, injures more than 30
A bomb left at a crowded bus stop in Jerusalem has exploded killing one woman and injuring at least 30 people.
The Wednesday bombing was the first the city has seen in several years.
It comes amidst rising tension and violence in the country between Israelis and Palestinians.
Ray Dolphin, who works with Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) in Jerusalem, was in his office when the bombing happened.
” It is the first such incidence in Jerusalem, I don’t know how many years, but certainly in many years and hopefully it’s not a sign of a deteriorating security situation.”
