Asian migrants stranded in Benghazi need urgent evacuation

More than 5,000 migrants of Asian and African origin have been stranded at the Libyan port city of Benghazi for more than a week. The majority of these migrants are from Bangladesh, India, and Sudan. Humanitarian organizations are working fast to get people out by air and by sea. Jemini Pandya, spokesperson for the International Organization of Migration or IOM, told UN Radio’s Jocelyne Sambira how the migrants live in fear of being attacked and why they need to leave urgently.
