Afghanistan "ready" for security transition
Afghanistan says is ready to take over the responsibility for its security from NATO forces in seven of its provinces.
The Central Asian country is emerging from years of conflict following the defeat of the Taliban government…..civilian deaths are on the rise.
Meanwhile, the United Nations has extended the mandate of its mission in Afghanistan.
