UK supports will of Libyan people
The United Kingdom says it supports the will of the Libyan people in their attempt to force a peaceful change of regime in the North African country.
Over a thousand people have died across Libya as anti-government protestors continue their bid to topple the Libyan leader Muammar Qadhafi.
There has been criticism that the 15-member Security Council, on which the UK serves as a permanent member, has not acted decisively enough against the Qadhafi regime.
Daniel Dickinson asked Mark Lyall Grant, the UK Ambassador to the UN about the Security Council’s position.
