“Egregious crimes” in Libya to be discussed at Security Council

The United Nations Security Council is due to meet in New York to discuss the political unrest in Libya.

There has been criticism that the Security Council has not taken a tough enough stand.

The United Kingdom is one of the five permanent members of the council.

Daniel Dickinson asked Mark Lyall Grant, the UK Ambassador to the UN what measures will be taken against Libya.
