Heavy rain and flooding in Southern Africa could lead to severe food shortages after large areas of farmland and crops were damaged. In Lesotho, one of the hardest hit countries in the region, the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) says up to 60 per cent of the harvest has been lost. The FAO is particularly concerned that the poorest communities in the region will suffer most. Febi Orida asked Elizabeth Kelly from the FAO about the current situation.
