Road fatalities have reached crisis proportions with what is now commonly known as distracted driving. With the number of cell phone users on the rise, more accidents are being attributed to talking or texting while driving. Japan has been ahead of the curve by voting a law against it.

Korea unveils its Green Growth Plan.

At a week long UN gathering in Korea, over 60 nations in Asia and the Pacific signed a declaration promising to adopt green growth strategies in order to spur economic growth. Two years into their five year green growth plan, Korea is leading the transition to a green economy.

Rohingya refugees face harsh life in camps.

Rohingya have settled around the Kutupalong refugee camp

The Rohingyas, a Muslim minority from North western Myanmar, have been fleeing persecution in their home country since the 1970s. But this group of refugees is facing a harsh life in neighbouring Bangladesh. Louise Tunbridge of IRIN Radio has the story.
