The UN Children's Fund brings water to villagers in Indonesia

A clean and healthy world: That was the theme for World Water Week 2008 which was observed from August 17-23. Sweden's capital, Stockholm, was the host city for events devoted to bringing adequate sanitation to nearly three billion people who lack access to water supply and toilet facilities. During World Water Week, UNICEF reported on communities in Java, Indonesia where villagers are building water catchments to improve local hygiene and sanitation practices. The catchments are part of a UNICEF effort to improve the water and sanitation situation in a region still recovering from a major earthquake in May 2006. We'll hear more in this report from UNICEF's Steve Nettleton.
