Security Council Demands End to Actions Undermining Yemeni Transitional Government
By its unanimous adoption of resolution 2051 (2012), the Security Council today urged the cessation of actions aimed at undermining Yemen’s political transition and Government of National Unity, and called on all sides in the country to reject violence as a means of achieving political goals. The Council also expressed its readiness to consider further measures on Yemen, as outlined in Article 41 of the UN Charter.
