First Session of the United Nations General Assembly
The first session of the United Nations General Assembly opened on 10 January 1946 at Central Hall in London, United Kingdom.
During the session, Mrs. Eleanor Roosevelt called a meeting of women delegates to address an Open Letter to the Women of the World. E. Wilkinson (UK) addresses the meeting.
