Building Previously Occupying Hammarskjöld Library Site
An exterior view, circa 1943, of the factory which stood on the site presently occupied by the United Nations Dag Hammarskjöld Library at First Avenue and 42nd Street. The building was used to manufacture airplane parts and generators on ground which is now part of the Headquarters complex of the world organization.
