ONUB Facilitates National Referendum in Burundi
A United Nations Operation in Burundi (ONUB) peacekeeper (left) assists the local people of Gitage, Burundi, as they line up to vote in the national referendum on the draft of post-transition constitution, marking the first step in the electoral process to end the transitional period. ONUB and the National Electoral Independent Commission (CENI) have joined forces to facilitate the national election that has been already postponed three times.
