Congolese Civilians Wounded in North Kivu Fighting
A wounded child is prepared for evacuation by members of the UN Organization Stabilization Mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (MONUSCO) in Walikale, North Kivu Province.
Walikale town had come under siege by the Raia Mutomboki militia but is now once again in the hands of Government FARDC troops. The number of casualties as a result of the fighting is still unknown.
