Secretary-General Reports to Assembly on Syria
Bashar Ja’afari, Permanent Representative of Syria to the UN, addresses the General Assembly after a report from Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon on the Assembly’s 16 February resolution concerning Syria. The resolution, which requires the Secretary-General to update the Assembly on its implementation, strongly condemns human rights abuses by the Syrian Government and calls for an end to all violence in the country.
