Winners of UNAMID-UNICEF "Eyes of Darfur" Project
Thirteen-year-old Rowa Youssif Jarnabi of Hager Primary School for Girls in El Fasher, and her father Youssif Ahmed, a teacher at the school, pose together with Rowa’s winning photograph from the “Eyes of Darfur” project. Rowa is one of the 30 selected winners of the project, co-sponsored by the African Union-United Nations Hybrid Operation in Darfur (UNAMID) and the UN Children’s Fund (UNICEF), in which 700 children received cameras and took a total of 15,000 photos.
