UNMISS Deploys Peacekeepers to Conflict-Stricken Jonglei State
UN Military Observer Maj. Wallace Munguya (left) briefs Bangladeshi peacekeepers of with the UN Mission in the Republic of South Sudan (UNMISS), recently arrived in Likuangole Payam, Jonglei State. The troops were deployed to the area in an effort to stem the cycle of revenge attacks and killings that have killed more than 1,000 people in the last three months.
