Taking Refuge in Iraq
The family of Perwana Abdullah Muhammed Nazhad has been taking refuge in the northern sub-district of Erbil, Iraq, since they fled Iran in 1998. Her husband's disability makes the family eligible for cash assistance from the Public Aid Organization, the implementing partner of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).
