Taking Refuge in Iraq
In 1998, the family of this girl left Mahabad, Iran to seek refuge in Iraq. They now live in the northern sub-district of Erbil, where they receive cash assistance from the Public Aid Organization, the implementing partner of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).
