Independent High Electoral Commission of Iraq (IHEC) Holds First Scientific Conference
A participant is interviewed during the First Scientific Conference of the Independent High Electoral Commission of Iraq (IHEC). The Conference has attracted a large number of academics from several universities in Iraq who came to discuss how the IHEC can improve its role in the electoral processes in the country. The United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI) and the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES) also participated in the two-day seminar.
