Displaced Sudanese Undergo Medical Tests before Journey Home
A child is examined by a doctor, to gauge fitness for travel, at Kalma Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) Camp in Nyala, South Darfur. Medical exams are being conducted on 1,500 of the camp’s residents who will return to their West Darfur homes in a large-scale operation organized by the Government of Sudan with assistance from UN agencies.
