Assembly President Addresses Special Meeting Marking International Day against Nuclear Tests
The UN General Assembly held a special meeting to mark the observance of the International Day against Nuclear Tests. Established in early 2010, the Day is observed on 29 August, the same day as the 1991 closure of the Semipalatinsk nuclear test site in Kazakhstan.
