All-Woman Samoan Police Contingent Arrives to UNMIT
Radio producers Joyce De Pina and Paulo Gama of the United Nations Integrated Mission in Timor-Leste (UNMIT) interview Deborah Pata-Ioane, a member of the all-woman Samoan police contingent newly-arrived to serve with the Mission. Ms. Pata-Ioane, along with a fellow officer and the contingent's commander, was selected by Samoan authorities to help underline the importance of gender equality in police work.
