UNDP Project Oversees Additional Opening through Cyprus Buffer Zone

George Iacovou (second from left) and Kudret Ozersay (third from left), the Representatives of Greek and Turkish Cypriot Leaders Demetris Christofias and Dervis Eroglu, respectively, visit the site of the Limnitis/ Yesilirmak road project in Cyprus. The project overseen by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is restoring the road that connects the two towns of Limnitis/ Yesilirmak and Kato Pyrgos/Asagi Pirgo, creating another opening through the buffer zone that once rigidly divided the Greek and Turkish sides of the island.
