UNTSO Commander visits Post in Golan Heights

Major General Robert Mood (right), Chief of Staff of the UN Truce Supervision Organization (UNTSO), visits the UN Disengagement Observer Force (UNDOF)'s Observation Post 58 in the Golan Heights. Established in May 1948 to supervise the observance of the truce in Palestine, UNTSO is a Midle East peacekeeping organization active in Syria, Lebanon and Israel. It frequently assists and collaborates with the Golan-based UNDOF.
