The Report of the Commission on the Status of Women
Many interested spectators followed closely the two weeks of meetings which the United Nations Economic and Social Council's Human Rights Committee devoted to the study of the Report of the Commission on the Status of Women. At the Palais des Nations, the Commission Report has been presented by Madame Marie Helene Lefaucheux (centre) of France, and Chairman of the Commission of the Status of Women. Listening with her, as discussion gets underway, is Professor John P. Humphrey, Director of the United Nations Secretariat’s Division of Human Rights.
