UNAMSIL Battalion Departs Sierra Leone for Liberia
The deployment of a Nigerian battalion to Monrovia, Liberia from the UN Mission in Sierra Leone (UNAMSIL) started as scheduled this morning. More than 140 troops were deployed. The pace of that deployment is expected to accelerate as the process proceeds.
