New Guides at United Nations Headquarters Hear Address by Secretary-General U Thant

Since 1952, the United Nations Office of Public Information has maintained a Visitors Service Section which handles queries from visitors and conducts public briefings and guided tours of the United Nations Headquarters. Some 41 nationalities are represented on the staff of guides, and tours can be conducted in a total of 37 languages.
