The Guided Tour Service at United Nations Headquarters
Since 1952, the UN Office of Public Information has maintained the Visitors Service Section which handles queries from visitors conducts public briefings and guided tours of UN Headquarters. Some 8,523,456 visitors were conducted on those tours over the ten-year period which ended on 31 October 1962.
