Canadian Aircraft Carrier Brings Supplies for Canadian Contingent of UN Peacekeeping Force in Cyprus
A vehicle being unloaded from the Canadian aircraft carrier HMCS Bonaventure, shortly after its arrival at the port of Famagusta on the south coast of Cyprus. The carrier, which brought 95 officers and men who will join the Canadian contingent of the UN Peacekeeping Force in Cyprus, also transported 16 ferret armoured cars, 36 trucks and trailers and 160 tons of stores for the Canadian troops.
