Climate Change Conference Meets in Kyoto, Japan, 1-10 December, 1997
The Third Session of the Conference of the Parties of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC - COP3) met in Kyoto, Japan.
An International Broadcasting Centre was set up by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) where more than 40 foreign broadcasters and television news agencies had access to coverage provided by Japanese television.
