Activities in the Province of Katanga

At Kolwesi airport a destroyed Vampare aircraft reminds of the fighting some months ago, between ONUC (UN Operation in the Congo) troops and Katangese troops. This plane was destroyed on the ground by Swedish Fighter Planes which formed part of the United Nations Air Force during the hostilities.
