Re-Launching of Public Identification Hearings in Côte d'Ivoire
A woman shows a substitute birth certificate she recieved at the re-launching of the Public Identification Hearings, conducted in the mobile courts to issue birth certificates to residents without identity documents, and eventually registered to vote in elections. The hearings were officially launched last year but stalled due to violence, at Ferkessedougou in Côte d'Ivoire.
