UNDP Sponsored Programme Destroys Confiscated Weapons in Kosovo
A member of the Kosovo Force (KFOR) cuts one of the 7,000 illegal weapons into useless slices to be turned into metal sold for scrap, in a programme sponsored by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), and aimed at destroying confisticated weapons in Kosovo. The UNDP estimates that there are more than 300,000 illegal weapons in circulation in the province.
