Medals Awarded to Swedish Soldiers of UNEF

United Nations medals were awarded today to 450 Swedish soldiers of the United Nations Emergency Force (UNEF) at a ceremonial parade commanded by Colonel S.G. Fornwall of the Swedish Battalion in Gaza. Major-General Syseno Sarmento, Commander of UNEF, presented the medals on behalf of the Secretary-General.
