Capodichino Airport, UNEF Staging Area
As of yesterday, a total of 1,666 troops had been transported from Capodichino Airport, the staging area for the units of the UN Emergency Force (UNEF) near here, to Abu Suweir, Egypt. The troops have included units from Canada, Colombia, Norway, Denmark, India and Sweden. In addition, Yugoslav troops sent to Egypt directly put the total strength of UNEF in Egypt today at 2,474.
