380 Brazilian Volunteers Welcomed by UNEF Commander
The Commander of the United Nations Emergency Force (UNEF), Lt. Gen. E.L.M. Burns, flew from Gaza to Port Said today to welcome some 380 Brazilian soldiers who arrived by sea from Rio de Janeiro to join UNEF. The new arrivals, all of whom volunteered for service with UNEF, will bring to 642 the number of Brazilian soldiers serving in the Force.
