U.N. Emergency Force (UNEF) for the Middle East
As of today, 24 countries have contributed to the U.N. Emergency Force (UNEF) for the Middle East (23 with troops and the U.S. with transport and supplies). Some of these troops are on their way to Capodichino airport, near Naples, staging area of the force. Others have already reached Egypt.
