New U.N. Truce Chief in Palestine Holds Press Conference

Major-General E.L.M. Burns (centre), of Canada, newly appointed Chief of Staff of the U.N. Truce Supervision Organization in Palestine (UNTSO), conversing with some of the news correspondents accredited to the United Nations, after the press conference he held today at Headquarters. General Burns will replace Major-General Vagn Bennike, of Denmark.
