United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon
Refugees returning to their homes in the city of Tyre. According to an assessment made by the Lebanese Government and the UN Relief and Works Agency in the Near East (UNRWA), there were 200,000 displaced Lebanese and 65,000 Palestinian refugees who had fled from the conflict area in the south to north of the Litani River. They are located mainly in the cities of Beirut and Saida.
