Fourth Phase of Implementation of Disengagement Agreement Completed
Israeli forces today handed over to the United Nations Emergency Force (UNEF) the area covered by the fourth phase of the implementation of the disengagement agreement. The handing over took place in the Deversoir area at 1000 hours GMT when Col. S. Gat of the Israeli Forces turned over the area to Col. T. Kuosa, representative of the UNEF Commander at UNEF forward headquarters.
Busses carrying members of the Israeli armed forces move east across the Suez Canal on the causeway constructed by Israeli forces. These are the last units to pull back into Sinai from the Israeli Bridgehead on the West Bank.
