Fourth Phase of Implementation of Disengagement Agreement Completed
M-48 tanks of the Israeli Armoured Brigade moving east across the Suez Canal on the causeway constructed by Israeli forces. These are the last units of the Israeli forces to pull back into Sinai from the Israeli bridgehead on the West Bank. The handing over took place in the Deversoir area at 1000 hours GMT when Col. S. Gat of the Israeli Forces turned over the area to Col. T. Kuosa, representative of the UNEF Commander at UNEF forward headquarters.
