The United Nations Cherry Trees
The 178 flowering cherry trees that Mrs. Mary Woodard Lasker and children from New York offered last year to the United Nations in memory of the late Albert Davis Lasker, are now in full bloom. The trees are planted in the garden at the north of the UN site.
