By agreement between Israel and Jordan, a UN-escorted convoy carrying food, other necessities, and exchange personnel to the Israeli humanitarian and cultural institutions on Mount Scopus, leaves Mandelbaum Square every two weeks. Manifests are filed with the United Nations and with Jordanian authorities. Before departure the contents of the convoy are examined by personnel of the UN Truce Supervision Organization (UNTSO) in the presence of both Jordanian and Israeli authorities.
