Human Rights Commission Opens Session in Geneva
The United Nations Commission on Human Rights opened its annual session at the Palais des Nations in Geneva on Monday, 6 February. Keba Mbaye (Senegal) was elected Chairman for the current session by acclamation. Yvon Beaulne (Canada) and Adam Lopatka (Poland) were elected first and second Vice-Chairman and the Rapporteur were postponed.
