In Leopoldville, twenty-four agricultural assistants from all parts of the Congo are learning new techniques in a course jointly sponsored by the United Nations Operation in the Congo (ONUC) and the Agricultural Production Development Bureau of Paris.
Students of the 3-months course, which commenced in early September, are seen here in class in the Ecole Technique. At the front of the class are M. Roger de Poncins, Agricultural Engineer of APDB (left), Mr. Garvey Laurent, of Haiti, ONUC Agricultural Economist (centre), and Professor Etienne Dubs, of APDB.
